Spring 2024 Productions

Two Audition Based Productions:

FUNdamentals Performance (2 Show Day)

Full Production (Tech Week - 4 Shows)

FUNdamentals Production

Actors will audition for both productions (unless specified differently in their audition form).
The FUNdamentals production will feature music from the show but focus on musical theatre fundamentals: singing, dancing, and acting. TCA is ensuring we are training the next generation of TCA actors thoroughly, and giving them the attention they deserve! We want to give our less experienced actors their own production so they can shine at the level they are at right now!

FUNdamentals Production Cost: $250.00
includes t-shirt, script, 1 ticket to each performance on show day. (2 tickets total)
and 1 student ticket to the Thursday night performance of the full production.
Student must be accompanied by a paid adult ticket.

Please note, actors 9 and under will require a parent volunteer fulfillment.

Audition Requirements:

Auditions are mandatory for either cast. This helps us ensure that the actor is serious about participating in the production. We may offer a non-audition based production in the future, but we pride ourselves on preparing our actors for all forms of musical theatre. Auditioning is a key component of any theatre company and is imperative to conquer. We will have an audition workshop, January 10th, 2024.

Production Information for ALL age Groups:

*Rehearsal times may vary depending on age group & location.

Not all Actors will not be called to every rehearsal.

Rehearsals are closed, with the exception of scheduled parent volunteers.

We are happy to work around conflicts as long as they are disclosed in the audition form.

Closed Rehearsals will take place at THREE locations

3. TCA Indiana Studio: 10020 Indiana Ave. Ste 211 Riverside, CA 92503

We know it's a lot of locations, we will send reminders each week to help with any confusion.

What if I don't get the part I want?

We believe that theatre is more than just 1 shining star and we hope you will consider joining us no matter what role you receive. However, if you want to drop the production after casting, you will forfeit the $50 Audition Fee deposit. If you drop, you are not eligible to participate in the following TCA production. You will be welcome back after one production. In case you can't tell, promoting theatre from all angles is of the utmost importance to TCA. We want to train talented, respectful, and eager actors; this means learning to love a role you didn't necessarily want. Some of my most fond theatrical memories are from shows or roles that I didn't think I'd like. I promise, theatre is more than just being in the spotlight.

FULL Production

Actors will audition for both productions (unless specified differently in their audition form).
The FULL production will feature a small cast and focus on working as an ensemble. This is a demanding show with difficult music and there is a possibility that actors will stay on stage for the duration of the entire show.

FULL Production Cost: $350.00

Tuition includes: all rehearsals, costume fee, script (actors keep), and a cast t-shirt. The only other costs will be undergarments/footwear, and ticket sales. We do not require a minimum amount of tickets to be sold by any cast member. Tickets range from $17 - $20 each and will be sold closer to the performance date.

There has been a $50 increase to cover the cast size reduction.
In order to accomodate less actors, we must raise our tuition price for this production.

*Please note this schedule WILL change once we get conflicts and other factors after auditions. We plan to rehearse every Wednesday, and one Saturday a month. Actors may be asked to stay late or come a different day for additional rehearsals, but we will always check with schedules!
